Two perspectives. One inspiring journey.
Internship secured with ARAC. From 11 different universities, my graduation project stood out and won as a Future Star of INDEX 2026! This project has been such a meaningful part of my design journey, from the very first idea to seeing it recognized at INDEX Saudi Arabia. It feels extra special to end my university journey with a moment like this. Thank you to INDEX Saudi Arabia and ArchiNet for this opportunity and for supporting young designers. So grateful for this experience and excited for what’s next!

Internship secured with Space Architectural Studio. Future Stars was an important step in my transition from design student to emerging professional. Presenting NEX challenged me to refine not only my project, but also how I communicate the thinking behind my design. Presenting to industry professionals strengthened my confidence and showed me that the skills and ideas I developed during my studies can have value beyond the academic environment. Being recognized as one of the winners was a meaningful milestone and has motivated me to continue developing my skills, trusting my ideas, and creating work with purpose as I begin my professional career.

From preparing the project to presenting it, the competition gave me a platform to share my ideas and my goal of creating a better future through architecture. Turning a vision I had carried through years of study into a project that I could share with the world was an experience that I will always remember.

Future Stars is an important bridge between academia and professional practice, giving emerging designers the opportunity to showcase their work, receive industry feedback and gain valuable exposure. I was impressed by the depth of research and thinking behind the submissions, especially those that translated strong concepts into compelling spatial experiences. I would encourage students to take part, be ambitious, push boundaries and use the opportunity to develop their own design perspective and communicate their ideas with confidence.
